Hawaii Trip

Couple of months back we went to Hawaii, one of the great travel destinations. This was office sponsored trip and it was a great experience. We went to Big Island and spent the time at Hilton Waikola Village resort. We took a bus tour of the island and got to see the volcano crater, blacksand beach and more natural beauty.

On the way back we got to spend a few hours on beaches of Honolulu. It was a nice experience overall. I am posting a few photos along with this post.

Travel Company Recommendation

When I traveled to Yosemite & Las Vegas I went on a bus tour. My friend recommended this to me after he took a trip last year and that definitely motivated me to take this trip.

I found following advantages of the tour

• There was less physical stress
• Cost was less
• We could see more places than we would have seen on our own
• Tour Guide provided lot of information which we would have not known otherwise
• It was nice meeting people and travelling with them

Disadvantages of this conducted tour are

• You feel a little rushed as the tour needs to go according to a schedule
• Less privacy

Overall, I felt happy that we took a tour bus. Lassen Tours has lot of tours in both east coast and west coast of USA. I definitely recommend this.

Travel: Yosemite and Las Vegas

Recently traveled to these two places. It was nice taking a break and visiting places. Yosemite National Park is ideal for outdoor activities. We saw Yosemite Falls, El Captain (a monolith). I am attaching one photo of Yosemite Falls.

Visiting Las Vegas first time is another experience to remember. Highly vibrant and full of activity, Las Vegas is impressive. I am attaching a photo of Fountain show we watched.
